The details...

1. When did you get engaged?

2. How did the planning go?

3. What venue and vendors did you use for the wedding?

4. What was unique about your wedding?

5. Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Cody and I went to school together through middle and high school. We graduated in 2012. After going our own ways we reconnected with each other the Spring of 2016 when I wrote him a letter while he was deployed. Soon he came home for leave and we hung out everyday. After that I knew God made him for me and he knew that too. We got engaged 4 months later(October) and married November 10th at the courthouse. I moved to Texas. We still wanted to have a big wedding!

So I planned the whole thing from Texas and it had some challenges but my vendors were amazing!

I used the venue The Old Barn at Brown County. It was so beautiful by itself it didn't need much at all. The owners are absolutely amazing and very easy to work with to get everything situated for your big day. Blackerby Hanger 5 Restaurant and First Class Catering out of Columbus did a fantastic job. I loved the finishing touch of real China and silverware. The staff did an amazing job of keeping up with the cleaning and catering to what we need. Not to mention the food was very flavorful and wonderful. The florist was Flowered Occasions in Plainfield. She did a fantastic job with our roses and eucalyptus leaves for our centerpieces. I ordered beautiful succulent cuttings off Etsy, my hairstylist Jessica Yates did an amazing job, and our photographer Rachel Anne Boudoir did a great job capturing moments that I can look back at and remember all the time and effort I put into that day.

Since Cody and I were married already, this was more of us to go in front of God family and friends to express our love with everyone.

We are not going on a honeymoon because Cody is getting stationed in Hawaii for three years so in turn we will live in a honeymoon destination for three years. We didn't need a honeymoon.
