Shhhh! 5 Tips for Grooms & Finding THE Perfect Engagement Ring!

1. Buy from a small independently owned store.

Most often you are dealing with the owner who really knows what they’re talking about when it comes to quality and price. An owner will try harder to make you a customer for life!

2. When purchasing diamonds, buy what draws your eye.

The 4 C’s (carat, cut, clarity, and color) are important but what’s on the paper isn’t as important as what you actually see! Buy what You can’t keep your eye off of!

3. In regards to the price.... DO NOT BUY WHAT YOU CANT AFFORD.

Diamonds can be upgraded at a later time. You can use an heirloom diamond, an estate diamond, or even a colored stone.

Don’t let a salesperson (who may get a commission or a bonus) talk you into spending more than you’re comfortable spending.

4. Natural vs Lab Grown vs Synthetic vs Treated?

Ask a lot of questions from professionals, what you read online isn’t always true.

5. Guys: if you want the proposal to be a surprise, buy the diamond and mount it in a simple solitaire ring. Propose, then choose the ring together!
