Color Trend: Dusty Purple Weddings

By Sophie Fleetwood

Dusty purple is a popular and soft muted tone, perfect for beautiful, cascading bridesmaid dresses that will complement the bride perfectly. Before we know it, September will be here and Fall will be fast approaching. Dusty purple is a perfect transition color from summer to fall. You can dress it up with sparkles and glamorous centerpieces or keep it rustic with soft hues of purple mixed throughout a barn reception with twinkling fairy lights and warm candle light.

What makes the dusty purple color so beautiful and perfect for weddings is that it resembles a pretty lavender shade and its muted tones are elegant and flattering on all skin tones (your bridesmaids will be thanking you).

Dusty purple is one of my favorite colors on bridesmaids. It looks beautiful on everyone and the muted purple tone tends to make the bride's white dress really pop. These bridesmaids are all wearing the same shade of this color, but you can even mix it up with different shades and tones of this soft purple color. Either will look gorgeous.

I love this bridal party because of the mismatched bridesmaid dresses. This trend is really taking the wedding industry by storm and most brides are finding it easier to just ask brides to pick dresses in different shades of a specific color.
